Naidu's lies on Krishna waters nailed

 Hyderabad, October 2, 2013: YSR
Congress has criticised TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu for spreading dark lies
in Delhi about the irrigation projects and
sharing of
Krishna waters by the State.

“It was
during Naidu’s term as chief minister that the neighbouring Karnataka has
increased the height of Almatti dam and he remained a mute spectator while YS
Rajasekhar Reddy has initiated many irrigation projects after coming to power
in 2004,” party spokesperson Vasireddy Padma told reporters here on Wednesday.

Even on
the auspicious occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi, Naidu did not forget his habit of
spreading false propaganda. Karnantaka has built or upgraded many irrigation
projects while he was the chief minister and irrigation was never his priority.

It was
YSR who took up Jalayagnam in a big way to provide irrigation and
drinking water to the parched areas. Naidu on the other hand, did not respond
properly even as the Bachawat Tribunal Award was being breached by the upper
riparian states, she said.

The
media has vastly published reports in 2003 on the inefficiency of Naidu
government in stalling the projects in Karnataka as the flow of
Krishna waters to the state would be hampered.

Naidu now
charging YSR with ignoring irrigation sector is ridiculous as it is a known
fact that YSR was pro-farmer and his policies and priorities speak of his affinity
towards farmers, she said.

The TDP
leader is scared of our party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and has been
levelling baseless allegations on the bail. “Our Party President has made it
very clear that the bail was given on merits and after the completion of
investigation by deadline set to CBI by the apex court.”

The TDP
leader’s remarks of bail and deal amount to contempt of court and shows that he
does not believe in judiciary.

Naidu
still harping on the same allegations shows that he is scared of our Party as
he did not win a single election after our YS Jagan Mohan Reddy started the
Party. “Our success rate is stupendous and Naidu’s popularity graph has plunged
southward. His words and deeds are out of frustration and he is unable to come
anywhere close to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the people’s court.”

His oft
repeated remark that YSRCP will merge with Congress has no takers. We are the
challengers and Naidu’s is not in the frame. It was Naidu who has a deal with
Congress on many occasions to save his skin from the various charges he is
facing, she said.
