Naidu using Tirumala for mercantile purpose

Hyderabad, YSR Congress has said that Chandrababu Naidu has belittled the sanctity of Tirumala by using it for political and commercial purposes.“TDP Government has overnight given sanction to set up Heritage stall at Tiruamala, where all products of the Company, run by the family of Chandrababu Naidu, are sold,” Party MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy told reporters here  on Wednesday.

Normally, no commercial activity is allowed at Tirumala but Heritage Foods was given permission to set up a stall and sell its products which does not go well with the pious environs.The stall also sells cakes which are made of eggs even as liquor, meat and other such things are banned at Tirumala.

Chandrababu Naidu has been misusing his office to sidestep the established norms for commercial and political gains which goes against the religious sentiments of the place.

Earlier, he has likened NTR to Lord Venkateswara drawing the ire of many sensitive people and now he has permitted his family-run company to set up shop at Tirumala,which is highly objectionable and gross misuse of power, he said.
