Naidu has no record of keeping up promises

Godavari dist), May 2, 2014: Chandrababu Naidu’s past haunts him like a terrifying
shadow and he cannot show one single instance of honouring his word but is
remembered by the people as a person who has usurped power and party from NTR
while YSR family is known for keeping up promises and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was
always with the people unlike the TDP leader, Sharmila has said and appealed to
the people to vote for YSRCP fan symbol for prosperity and welfare.

Addressing a large
gathering as part of the YSR Jana Bheri electioneering here on Friday, she
said: “Naidu has taken anti-people decisions and has increased power charges
eight times in eight years and after the death of YSR he has shielded Congress
government to save himself from prosecution for the various corruption charges
he has been facing.”

Congress could dare divide
the state only with the letter Chandrababu Naidu has submitted by giving his
unconditional affirmation to the division of the state. He along with Congress
is equally responsible for the division of the state.

He has backstabbed NTR and
folded up all his welfare schemes by increasing Rs 2 kg rice price, lifting the
prohibition and allowing the sprouting of belt shops all over the state. In
1999 elections he made many promises particularly for education of girl child
and employment to youth.

“He forgets all the
promises immediately after elections. With election season coming he is now
promising jobs, loan waiver, colour TVs and singing All Free rhyme. He never
considered waiving of interest on loans even while he was in power. He had a
low opinion on agriculture and passed snide remarks on YSR free power promise.

People of Kuppam elected
him for five terms. A person who could not develop Kuppam  panchayat into
a municipality saying that he will develop a capital city on the lines of
Singapore is absurd and ridiculous.

It was YSRCP that was with
the people and had taken up the people’s cause and held dharnas and deekshas
for farmers, students, women, weavers and other sections.

“I appeal to you to vote
for YSRCP and strengthen the hands of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Under his
leadership there were will welfare and development,” she said.
