Hyderabad, April 28: Describing Chandrababu Naidu as brand ambassador of corruption, YSR Congress has said that it was the TDP leader who has been bringing a blot on the brand image of Andhra Pradesh and not YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
‘The stupendous success of Save Democracy at Delhi has been an eyesore to TDP and Chandrababu Naidu has been resorting to false propaganda that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been spoiling the brand image of Andhra Pradesh while we have successfully exposed the corruption charges against the Chief Minister in the national capital with ample evidence,’ Party MLA RK Roja told reporters here on Thursday.
The brand image of AP took a beating when Chandrababu Naidu had failed to fulfill all the poll promises and resorted to large scale corruption which we have highlighted in the book that was distributed in the national capital which has become a subject matter of discussion among all circles.
Unable to bear the success our Delhi trip, TDP leaders went berserk and are leveling baseless allegations and Chandrababu Naidu stated that people who went to jail have been speaking of corruption, but the fact is that Chandrababu Naidu has joined hands with his political adversary Sonia Gandhi and filed cases against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who has boldly faced the inquiry.
‘Chandrababu Naidu should volunteer for a CBI probe on the charges and come clean instead of passing irrelevant comments,’ she said adding that ‘the evidence we have got would be given to the investigating authorities and not to TDP people.’
Rubbishing the charge of linking efficiency to keeping to the flock together, she said, ‘many MLAs have left, NTR, KCR and 32 legislators have deserted Chandrababu Naidu himself. The remarks blaming YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is only to cover up his failures and divert the attention of the people who are vexed with his anti-people policies.
The outgoing leaders stating that there is no internal democracy in our Party is just an alibi to cover their selfish deeds and on the contrary TDP lacks internal democracy as many of the local leaders have no knowledge that their adversaries joining the Party, she pointed out.
Most of the leaders who left are Party hoppers who jumped from Congress, PRP and our Party. Those who are with us from the beginning are committed to the Party and have full faith in the leadership of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, she said
