Does AP need a leader like Chandrababu?

Anantapur: Leader of the Opposition and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy asked, "What would legendary revolutionary leader Tarimela Nagireddy have done after seeing Chandrababu Naidu's misrule? Does Andhra Pradesh need a leader like Chandrababu Naidu?".
This straight question from YS Jagan evoked tremendous response from the people of Tarimela village in Singanamala assembly constituency on Wednesday.
Addressing a large gathering at Tarimela as part of his Praja Sankalpa Yatra, YS Jagan said the Tarimela village is known for its political awareness and it has produced legendary leaders like Nagi Reddy. He explained about the failures of Chandrababu Naidu government in detail. He said Chandrababu Naidu has done nothing for the people of the state during the last four years of his rule. He said seven decades after independence, there is no bridge on Penna river to enable free movement into and out of Tarimela. He said this was due to Chandrababu Naidu's negligence in providing basic amenities to the people.
He asked the people of the state to reject Chandrababu Naidu for duping the people by going back on his election promises. He said that Chandrababu Naidu’s rule has become a byword for corruption and misinformation. He slammed the Chandrababu government for turning Janma Bhoomi committees into village-level mafias which are looting everything in villages.
YS Jagan said there was corruption everywhere in Andhra Pradesh. From sand quarrying to sanctioning of sanitary toilets, the TDP leaders are getting kick-backs, he alleged.
The Leader of Opposition highlighted the fact that the YSRCP has announced Navaratnalu with a view to put smiles back on the face of the people of the state. He said the people would be happy only when Rajanna Rajyam would return. He added that his party was eliciting the opinions of the people, based on which the party manifesto would be prepared.
