Complaints pour out at Sharmila’s Rachchabanda

Guntur, March 6,
2013: The villagers of Mulakaluru in Narsarao Pet Mandalam of Guntur district
came out with plethora of complaints at a Rachchabanda programme attended by Smt.
Y. S. Sharmila who walked into the village during the course of Padayatra on
Wednesday.

Continuing her
Maro Praja Prasthanam Padayatra on 83rd day, she attended the
Rachchabanda programme wherein women said their village was handicapped by lack
of drinking water and other basic civic facilities.

“The longer
power cuts have only been adding to our woes,” they complained. Smt. Sharmila
told them she has been listening to the same story of suffering from people everywhere
and instilled confidence among them.

“Party president
Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has been learning of the people’s problems from
jail. He will come of the jail soon.  I
assure you all your problems will be solved once he assumes power,” she told
them.

Most of the
women who participated in the programme compared their present lives with the
days of YSR regime and said they lead better lives during those days.

The villages of
Mulakaluru, Isappalem, Barampeta, Peddacheruvu Centre, Palnadu Road, Old Bus
stand at Pata Palnadu and Christian Palem of Narsarao Pet assembly constituency
