Baji Reddy slams T Cong, TRS leaders
29 Dec 2012 12:24 PM

Hyderabad, Dec 29, 2012: Taking umbrage for the criticism
leveled against its stance in asking the Centre to solve the Telangana problem
without injustice to anyone, YSR Congress Party said the Telangana Congress and
TRS leaders chose to criticize the party as they were envious of its growing influence
in the Telangana area.
YSR Congress political
affairs committee member Bajireddy Govardhan told a press conference their
party has asked the Centre to find a quick solution to the issue acceptable to
all without any injustice to any one like a father.
“We made our stance
clear but the TRS and Telangana Congress leaders chose to criticize us instead
of questioning the Congress which expressed two different stands through its
two representatives,” he said, adding that people are observing the errant behavior
of the TRS leaders.
Those who are
criticizing us and our stance are not sincere first of all, Bajireddy said and
observed that Telangana Congress MPs, behaving like jokers, have become slaves
of the Congress party.
He said MP Madhu Yashki
Goud, who charged the YSRCP with betraying the Telangana cause, is himself a
Telangana betrayer.
Reiterating that YSR
Congress chief Sri Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is committed to his announcement made
at the first plenary that the Centre should solve the issue without injustice to
anyone.
“We are committed to
our earlier stance unlike TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu who has been changing his
stances,” Baji Reddy said and commented that the Congress party has turned the
state into a battle ground through its imprudent policies. Party leaders Janak
Prasad and others also addressed the media.
