Alluri Sitarama Raju statue in Parliament

New Delhi: YSR Congress Party Rajya Sabha member V. Vijaya Sai Reddy's efforts have paid off. Vijaya Sai Reddy has been requesting for the great patriot and freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju's statue in Parliament for quite some time now. He also wrote several letters for Alluri statue to the Parliament committee.
Finally, the Parliament house committee responded to his requests. Responding to the letter, Lok Sabha Secretary Manish Kumar told Vijaya Sai Reddy that the Joint Committee meeting will be convened soon on setting up the statues in the Parliament.
