YSRCP demands fee reimbursement

Dec 1: YSRCP has demanded the immediate release of fee reimbursement dues, failing which they would storm the houses of MLAs and Ministers.

Speaking to the media here on Monday, Party Student Wing President Panuganti Chaitanya said students in the State are suffering as the fee reimbursement has not been cleared by the government. “We will take the agitation to the next level and storm the Chief Minister’s residence if the demands are not met,” he said.

He added that Chandrababu Naidu has been neglecting students, while they faced no issues during YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s term. “Their future is bleak now, and they are facing serious difficulties. With Nara Lokesh as Minister, students cannot get justice as he is busy with foreign tours and neglecting the education sector,” he stated.

Party Student Wing Working President Ravichandra, who also addressed the media, said that fee reimbursement was promptly credited during YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s tenure and students are now left in the lurch.
