Tadepalli, September 15: On the occasion of the second anniversary of the establishment of five new medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh, the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) organized celebratory events across the state. These colleges, launched during the YSRCP government’s tenure, marked a significant milestone in medical education. On September 15, 2023, then-Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy inaugurated the medical college in Vizianagaram and virtually launched four others in Eluru, Rajamahendravaram, Machilipatnam, and Nandyal.
To commemorate this achievement, YSRCP leaders and activists held cake-cutting ceremonies at the respective colleges and the party’s central office in Tadepalli. The events highlighted the party’s commitment to advancing medical education in the state. Prominent leaders, including YSRCP General Secretary and MLC Lella Appi Reddy, former Minister Vidudala Rajini, former MLA Jakkampudi Raja, and other party members such as Kommuri Kanaka Rao, Ankireddy Naganarayana Murthy, Konda Rajiv, Putha Shivashankar, Sharif, Panuganti Chaitanya, Ravichandra, and K. Sudhakar Reddy, participated in the celebrations.
The YSRCP reaffirmed its dedication to strengthening healthcare and education, celebrating the legacy of these institutions that continue to serve the people of Andhra Pradesh.
