YS Jagan To Launch Nadu-Nedu Programme On November 14

PRAKASAM: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will be visiting Prakasam district on November 14th to inaugurate the Mana Badi Nadu-Nedu Programme on the occasion of Childrens' Day there.

This will be his first visit to the district after he took oath as the Chief Minister. The district administration is making all arrangements for the launch of the prestigious Nadu- Nedu programme, which is also one of the schemes envisaged in the Navaratnalu.

Prakasam District Collector Pola Bhasker is overseeing the arrangements for the function, which will be held at two places, PVR Municipal High School Grounds and DRRM High School grounds. The Collector along with the District Education Officer (DEO) VS Subba Rao inspected the state of the classrooms and other facilities in the school grounds.

As part of this Nadu-Nedu initiative, 15,000 schools were selected for the implementation in the first phase across the district.
