YS Jagan Expresses Displeasure Over Seats Row Created by TDP

Amaravati: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed his displeasure over the way the Opposition party leaders had conducted themselves during the fifth day of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Budget sessions on Wednesday.

Remarking that the TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu was turning every issue into a controversy, YS Jagan derided them for complaining over the seat allocation to TDP legislators. The TDP MLAs raised a furore vis-a-vis seat allocation to them in the Assembly.

YS Jagan said that according to the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business of the Legislature, the seats were allotted to members of the legislature. The Speaker had also ruled that they should sit in the allotted seats. Whether it was first timer or whether it was senior with 40 years of experience everyone must follow the rules , he said in a direct reference to Chandrababu Naidu. In a sarcastic note he said that whether it was a first time MLA or his second term everyone has to sit in the legislature, he said.

The Chief Minister fired the TDP members for deliberately creating chaos in the House. He chided then for wasting the Assembly hours meant for discussions and said that there were 10 more questions to be raised by the members, but so far, only two questions have been asked. YS Jagan advised the TDP MLAs not to create a ruckus and waste valuable time of the Assembly further.
