Will Chandrababu Shut Down TDP If YSRCP Completes Polavaram

Anil Kumar Yadav

Guntur: The Andhra Pradesh government has almost saved Rs 780 crores of the public exchequer through reverse tendering, said the YSRCP leader and minister for water resources Anil Kumar Yadav on Tuesday. While he was speaking at a press conference in Tadepalli.  He also added that the YSRCP government have completed the tenders process in a fully transparent manner.

YSRCP leader added that the AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy led YSRCP government, will complete the Polavaram project in 2022. This was initiated by the former AP CM and YS Jagan's father Rajasekhara Reddy.

TDP is spreading false propaganda over the Polavaram project as a Megha company comes forward to do the work at 12.6% less cost, the TDP leaders are angry over the advancements of YSRCP.

Kumar said that reverse tendering, an initiative by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for Polavaram left canal construction works, saved 20.33 percent of the money. This was in comparison to the previous Telugu Desam Party (TDP) government led by Chandrababu Naidu in the 290 crore budget that was allocated for the purpose.

The leader slammed Chandrababu Naidu and alleged that he was spreading false propaganda stating that YSRCP has given tenders only to followers of the party. He added that during the previous regime of the TDP government did not provide a single job, and is now blaming the YSRCP government which is pro-people.

Polavaram Reverse Tendering is a great decision taken by the AP CM. Instead of praising the great innovative decision by YS Jagan opposition leaders are criticizing it.

Anil Kumar Yadav question Chandrababu Naidu and TDP leaders that "If YSRCP finishes the Polavaram Project in time will Chandrababu Naidu shut down the TDP party?"

The minister revealed that they will soon release the notification for the application of tenders for Veligonda project, and he even said that they are not going to decrease the height of the dam.

YSRCP minister Kumar, while taking a dig at Chandrababu Naidu, criticised the previous TDP government saying it only paid attention to commissions of the project and did not bother about the welfare of the people.

Anil Kumar Yadav finally concluded saying that  "We are proud of the ambitious reverse tendering decision of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy."
