TDP goons’ attack on Ambati Rambabu exposes Naidu's Jungle Raj

Vishakapatnam, Machilipatnam, Rayachoti , Jan 31: YSRCP leaders Botcha Satyanarayana, Perni Venkataramaiah (Nani), and G. Srikant Reddy have strongly condemned the violent attack on former minister Ambati Rambabu by TDP goons at Gorantla on the outskirts of Guntur, stating that Andhra Pradesh has descended into “jungle raj” under Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s rule. In a joint statement issued from Visakhapatnam, Machilipatnam, and Rayachoti, the leaders said the attack reflects the complete collapse of law and order and the dangerous encouragement being given to political violence.
They recalled that after repeatedly spreading false propaganda against the YSRCP government and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, going to the extent of politicising Lord Venkateswara’s prasadam, the TDP, Jana Sena, and their leaders were conclusively exposed when premier national institutions NDRI and NDDB proved that allegations about animal fat in Tirumala laddu ghee were completely false. Instead of expressing remorse, the ruling coalition has continued with the same lies and resorted to provocation by installing defamatory flexis carrying false content and photographs of Y.S. Jagan, former TTD chairpersons Y.V. Subba Reddy and Bhumana Karunakar Reddy.
The leaders said that when YSRCP workers removed these offensive flexis, police acted against YSRCP members instead of those who erected them, revealing clear bias. They further stated that after offering prayers at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Gorantla, Ambati Rambabu was attacked with sticks and iron rods by TDP goons who were lying in wait, shockingly in the presence of the police.
Describing the assault as an act of political madness, the leaders demanded immediate and stringent action against those responsible. They warned that the coalition government is deliberately creating unrest in the state and questioned whether this is democratic governance or outright anarchy, asserting that such lawlessness will not go unanswered.
