Naidu ignored a woman’s plea for justice, is this his 40 years of experience?

Tadepalli, Jan 28: YSRCP MLA from Yerragondapalem, Taatiparthi Chandrasekhar, launched a sharp attack on Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for remaining silent even after a victim personally approached him with a complaint against Railway Koduru JanaSena MLA Arava Sridhar. Speaking to the media at the YSRCP central office in Tadepalli, he said it was shocking that a woman who came forward with serious allegations and evidence was ignored, questioning whether this reflected the Chief Minister’s much-advertised four decades of political experience.
He said Andhra Pradesh has descended where atrocities against women have become routine. From Adimoolam to Arava Sridhar, cases of abuse, harassment, and sexual violence were becoming a pattern under the coalition government. Despite the victim herself meeting the Chief Minister and presenting her complaint, there was no response from the Home Department. He criticised the government reducing the Home Ministry to a “work-from-home department” that only watches while crimes multiply.
Taatiparthi Chandrasekhar said instead of acting against the MLA, the government was allowing press conferences to target the victim and setting up party committees to delay justice. He pointed out that similar cases in Kuppam and Amadalavalasa were compromised and quietly buried, proving that this government shields the powerful and abandons victims. He stated that Andhra Pradesh’s law and order situation had deteriorated so badly that the police system had slipped to 36th place nationally.
He said a government that cannot protect women and children has no moral right to continue. He demanded immediate legal action against Arava Sridhar and asserted that YSRCP would stand firmly with the victim until justice is delivered.
