Coalition govt going back on promises to employees

Tadepalli, Sept 30: YSRCP has condemned the coalition government for its anti-employee stand and neglecting their just demands.

Speaking to media here on Tuesday, YSRCP Employees and Pensioners Welfare Association President Nalamuru Chandrasekhar Reddy said that the coalition government has been pushing the doctors working in Primary Health Centres into distress by not accepting their just demands of PG seats, allowances and other long-pending issues.

They have given strike notice and would not be attending OP services while other associations have been extending solidarity with them. The government has gone back on its word in the in-house doctor's PG quota, he said adding that it was reduced to 15 percent against their wishes.

Village secretariat employees' demands are also not being met and they are forced to do the duties of volunteers without any extra pay and their demands were totally ignored, he said. The arrears of employees are also not cleared and they are vexed with the coalition government, he said.
