Coalition government hurting Hindu dharma for political gains

Tirupati, Dec 11: YSRCP state spokesperson and former TTD Chairman Bhoomna Karunakar Reddy strongly criticised the coalition government, accusing it of repeatedly hurting Hindu sentiments and using Tirumala as a political platform to target YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and the YSRCP.
Speaking to the media at his residence in Tirupati, he said the government was resorting to diversion politics to hide its failures.
He said incidents such as the Vaikuntha Ekadashi stampede and reports of liquor and meat on the Mada streets reflected complete mismanagement. He alleged that ever since B R Naidu took charge as TTD Chairman, Tirumala had witnessed a series of unfortunate events. He accused Naidu of behaving like a channel head rather than a temple administrator and claimed that Naidu was constantly attacking him and YS Jagan to please the Chief Minister.
Karunakar Reddy challenged allegations made against him and said he was ready for any inquiry. He questioned claims that a judge was backing him and demanded that those making such statements reveal the judge’s name.
He criticised Chandrababu Naidu for repeatedly using Hindu dharma and Tirumala temple issues to target YS Jagan for political mileage. He said every allegation, whether about Vaikuntha Ekadashi, laddus, parakamani or temple garments, was aimed at diverting public attention. He pointed out that the government had not released inquiry reports or taken action where required.
He said YS Jagan had worked to protect temple traditions, built thousands of temples and strengthened Tirumala’s glory. He accused the current TTD Chairman of failing in his duties and turning the shrine into a political stage.
Karunakar Reddy concluded by stating he was open to any investigation and that no amount of media pressure or false accusations would silence him.
