Tadepalli, September 19: Terming the Chalo medical colleges programme as a grand success, YSRCP has affirmed that the dissent of people against the coalition has come out in full flow and demanded the rollback of the privatization.
Speaking to media here on Friday, former minister Vidadala Rajini said, despite all the police restrictions, people responded in large numbers and gathered at the 17 medical colleges, five fully functional and the rest at various stages of completion.
They visited all the places where the medical colleges were initiated by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to tell the people loud and clear about the privatization move of the coalition government.
Chandrababu, who could not bring even a single medical college in all his terms put together, while YS Jagan in his five-year term had initiated 17 government medical colleges of which five were functioning and others at various stages.
People gathered in large numbers to protest against the privatization and we demand the rollback of the privatization move.
Police placed heavy restrictions and put leaders under house arrest, and in Palnadu their high-handedness was in the open, she said.
Students and youth gathered in large numbers in all the districts as their future is at stake. “We have exposed the commercial agenda of the coalition,” she said.
