BR Naidu, a total failure

Tirupati, Nov 6: YSRCP has slammed TTD Chairman BR Naidu for his inefficient handling of temple affairs and asserted that he has been a total failure.

Speaking to the media here on Thursday, former TTD Chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy said that BR Naidu’s ignorance of AI-based systems has come to the fore in crowd management.

He said tickets are being sold on the black market, and BR Naidu has no control over temple affairs as several unholy practices are taking place at Tirumala.

Bhumana alleged that the TTD Chairman has been relying solely on publicity without showing administrative efficiency. Though he boasted that the darshan would be completed within two hours, the claim has come to naught.

He remarked that BR Naidu’s one-year term has been filled with mishaps, indifference, and internal settlements, with nothing done to safeguard the interests of devotees.

Bhumana further said that though Naidu claimed to have scrapped the Srivani Trust, the decision was later reversed, and false claims are now being made about the collections.

He also pointed out that the TTD Board has no authority over the appointment of Vice-Chancellors, and there are widespread discussions about transfers of Assistant Executive Officers.
