*Andhra turned jungle raj with diversionary tactics by Naidu*

Kadapa, Feb 3: YSR Congress Party State General Secretary S.V. Satish Reddy strongly condemned the attacks on the houses of former ministers Ambati Rambabu and Jogi Ramesh, calling them undemocratic acts and clear proof of the breakdown of law and order in Andhra Pradesh. Speaking to the media at the YSRCP office in Kadapa, he questioned whether physical attacks have become the government’s answer to criticism and said even former ministers and ordinary citizens no longer feel secure under the present regime. He stated that after the SIT report found no animal fat in Tirumala laddu ghee, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu resorted to diversion politics, including defamatory flexis with photos of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and former TTD chairmen, and instigating attacks on opposition leaders to silence questions on government failures. He criticized the police for acting as spectators during attacks and then filing cases against victims, asking “what kind of policing is this.”

Satish Reddy further said the coalition government is trying to provoke social and religious tensions to hide its administrative failures, and challenged Chandrababu Naidu to openly discuss how many of the 143 manifesto promises have been implemented. He accused the government of failing to deliver on welfare promises such as free gas cylinders, unemployment benefits, and financial support to women, and said the Centre’s budget brought almost no real benefit to the state despite TDP being part of the NDA. He also questioned Naidu’s silence on Rayalaseema lift irrigation, halting key projects threatens the region’s water security while neighboring states push ahead with their schemes.

Warning that violence and diversion politics cannot continue for long, Satish Reddy said people are closely watching and will respond politically. He stated that if anyone from YSRCP had disrespected Tirumala or its laddu prasadam they would accept consequences, but the Chief Minister spreading misinformation and then refusing to apologize even after investigation reports. He declared that YSRCP leaders are ready to take an oath in Tirumala on the laddu issue and challenged Naidu to do the same. Urging the police from DGP to SP level to act firmly against unlawful elements, he warned that if attacks on opposition leaders continue in broad daylight under police watch, it raises serious questions about public safety. He concluded that attempts to intimidate the opposition will not stop YSRCP from questioning government failures and that the people will ultimately hold the government accountable.
