YSRCP to hold its Plenary on July 8

Hyderabad, June 26, 2013: The second Plenary of YSR Congress Party would be held at Idupulapaya
in YSR Kadapa district on July 8 in which about 26 resolutions,
including political and economic and the shoddy style of CBI functioning, would
be adopted.
“The Plenary which coincides with the birthday of YSR would discuss the
political situation in the state, the anti-people policies of Congress government
and its nexus with main opposition TDP and how CBI is being used as a political
tool settle political scores and resolutions would be adopted which will form
the party policy,” party senior leader Dr MV Mysoora Reddy and PNV Prasad state
coordinator told reporters here on Tuesday.
About 10,000 persons would be attending the Plenary, which would take
important decisions and discuss a wide gamut of issues. The plenary is confined
to a single day in wake of the local bodies’ elections and the busy schedule of
leaders and cadre with the district level conferences, they said.
Organisational elections would also take place and the Party President
would be elected during the Plenary. Senior leader Ummareddy Venkateswarlu will
be the Returning Officer, they said adding that various committees were formed
for the smooth conduct of the Plenary.
When asked about Telangana, they said the issue would be covered in the
political resolution.//
