Describing the steep hike in petro prices as harsh and unreasonable, YSR Congress Party President, YSJaganmohan Reddy on Wednesday demanded a roll back as people are already overburdened with a slew of taxes and spiraling costs of essential commodities.
“We strongly condemn the hike in petro prices which has come as a rude shock and the Congress government has been mishandling the economy by not showing concern to the people’s needs,” YS Jagan said.
Terming the hike as unreasonable, Jaganmohan Reddy said, the hike will have a cascading effect and the prices of essential commodities will further go up.
“We demand the roll of back of the hike of petrol prices and save the common man who is already in the swirl of escalating costs and growing inflation,” he said.
