This shows Chandrababu's degraded mindset

Senior YSR Congress party leader  K. Parthasarathi

Senior YSR Congress party leader and Penamuluru candidate K. Parthasarathi lashed out at Andhra Pradesh chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for evading the basic question on former MP and Minister, YS Vivekananda Reddy's murder as to who was behind it. He criticised the TDP supremo for stooping to a new low by accusing YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, of involvement in the case. This shows Chandrababu's degraded mindset, he said.

Parthasarathi refuted Chandrababu's wild allegations of YS Vivekananda Reddy's family members moving the body, saying this was done in the presence of the local CI. Why is the TDP chief evading the central question of who is behind YS Vivekananda Reddy's death?, he asked. The TDP government was not probing the murder in an impartial manner and instead constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT), which was not proceeding in the right direction, he said.

On Chandrababu's baseless propaganda about YS Jagan, Parthasarathi recalled the message given by the YSRCP chief, at the time of the news of YS Vivekananda Reddy's murder, asking party men to be calm.

If Chandrababu is certain of his innocence as also that of his party men, why does he not agree to third party investigation? Parthasarathi questioned.

Over the past one year the TDP supremo has been accusing PM Modi and YS Jagan of blocking development in AP, but cannot speak of what he has done for the state. Chandrababu's so-called 'army' is unable to go the people, who have been questioning the TDP leaders going to villages on the bertayal of promises. DWCRA women and farmers have been questioning the TDP leaders on loan waivers which did not happen, women similarly, asked them about the gold which was promised to be brought from banks to their homes. The unemployed have been asking Chandrababu, "where is our job?" and similarly, all segments of society have been questioning TDP men.

Chandrababu says 20 lakh jobs were given by the TDP government since it came to power in 2014. The important query here is, "given to whom", Parthasarathi asked. The YSRCP leader recalled that 9 kinds of commodities were given at fair price shops earlier, but the TDP watered this system down and was only giving rice and sugar now, he said.

Parthasarathi observed that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy inherited Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy's legacy and believed in going a step ahead, when it came to welfare governance. He added that under Chandrababu there was rank casteism everywhere. In Vijayawada and neighbouring areas, the casteist element had increased to such an extent under Chandrababu that people ask about one's caste before giving a house on rent.

Parthasarathi described Chandrababu as the biggest land-grabber. The TDP chief grabbed land officially, he said. He cited the example of 33,000 acres of land forcibly from farmers near Amaravati. Who benefited from the land scam? he questioned.
