YSRCP protest programmes on May 27, 28

Hyderabad, May 27, 2013: YSR Congress
Party will organise a two-day state-wide programme on May 27 and
28 to protest against the undemocratic detention of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy
for the past one year.

“The main
rally will be held at Necklace Road in the city in which party leaders and
cadre will take part to vent their feelings against the unlawful arrest and
detention of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy,’ Party Deputy Floor Leader Sobha Nagi Reddy
told reporters here on Sunday.

Dubbing the
arrest of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as part of a political conspiracy hatched by the
ruling Congress and main opposition TDP and using CBI is being used as a tool
to settle political scores, she said party workers across the state will take
part in the Candle March on May 27.

The Party
will also observe a one-day Deeksha at Indira Park from 10.00 am to 5.00
pm demanding the government to expedite the case, she said.

She appealed
to all the party workers to join the agitation programme on both days in large
number to express solidarity in the effort to highlight the unholy nexus of
Congress and TDP in keeping Jagan away from the people.

She also appealed to the participants to take enough precautions due to
the continuing heat wave across the state.

Though no
evidence could be established by the CBI and charges could be proved, YS Jagan
Mohan Reddy has been in jail and the investigation agency has been prolonging
its issue at the behest of political bosses, she said.

Reiterating
that TDP and Congress are working hand-in-hand to fight the common adversary YS
Jagan Mohan Reddy, she said, the two parties fear political debacle as the
popularity of YSRCP and Jagan is growing every passing days, he said.

The wicked
deeds of the Congress and TDP could only succeed in thwarting bail to Jagan but
not a single charge against him could be proved, she said.

TDP has been
blatantly supporting the Congress and with its support, the State Government is
taking anti-people policies, she said.
