Hyderabad, Aug 29, 2012: Describing the Kirankumar Reddy-led Congress government as Tuglak Administration, YSRCP leader Gattu Ramachandra Rao lambasted the government for not coming out with clarity on fee reimbursement to Engineering students.
Addressing a media conference at YSRCP headquarters in Hyderabad today, Ramachandra Rao said the government has linked up fee reimbursement with several conditions in order to avoid implementation of the scheme.
The government’s decision to link up the fee reimbursement with several ifs and buts will keep away the BC and EBC students from engineering courses. “It will lead to a reduction in the number of students pursuing the professional courses,” he said.
Asking the government to come out with a clear policy on fee reimbursement, the YSRCP leader warned the authorities to remove all conditions and announce measures to ensure full reimbursement to the students. “There should not be any confusion in this regard,” he observed.
Gattu Ramachandra Rao also announced the party’s support to the demands of the physically handicapped persons in the state. “We fully support the demands made out by Manda Krishna Madiga for the welfare of the physically handicapped,” he said.
