YSRCP pays tributes to Ambedkar

Vijayawada: The rank and file of the YSR Congress party (YSRCP) recalled the services of the architect of the Constitution, Dr BR Ambedkar, on the occasion of his 62nd death anniversary. At the party's State office here today, MLA Adimulapu Suresh paid tributes to Ambedkar by garlanding his photo. Addressing the media after the program, he condemned Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan for attacking the YSRCP now, after staying mum for four long years.
"Vice-president Venkaiah Naidu is now speaking against the defection of MLAs to other parties. Why didn't he speak out earlier? The TDP leaders are spending the funds from AP in Telangana elections," the MLA said.
On the other side, under the leadership of senior YSRCP leader and Leader of Opposition in AP Legislative Council Ummareddy Venkateshwarlu, the party workers organised the Ambedkar death anniversary program in the party's Central office in Hyderabad. Speaking on the occasion, he said contrary to Ambedkar's vision, many a person has voting right in multiple places.
