Amaravati: Tension situation was prevailed at the temporary secretary at Velagapudi when the police and officials obstructed YSR Congress Party MLAs and media personnel from entering inside the Assembly. Protesting against the officials' indifferent attitude, the YSRCP MLAs staged dharna near the AP Assembly gate. With black cloth tied around their mouth, the party leaders sat in the dharna.
Rain has exposed the hollowness of Chandrababu Naidu Government's Amaravati claims. Water has entered into the IV Block of AP's temporary secretariat at Velagapudi. In the chambers of YSRCP chief and the Leader of Opposition in the AP Assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, water was leaking continuously.
The YSRCP MLAs went to see the real time scenario inside the assembly but they were deined entry.
The YSRCP MLAs criticized the TDP of resorting to cheap tricks and stopping media. They alleged that media is not allowed only because to bury the truth and Chandrababu doesn’t want people to know the true colours of the assembly after few rains. If media is not allowed and they talk about the situation inside ruling party will say facts are fabricated, they alleged.
The YSRCP MLAs also opined that TDP Government ignored warnings that the capital area was flood prone and rejected suggestions made by the Opposition party. Now, a small rain has shown what can happen to the most important power centre in AP, they said.
Is this word class construction, the MLAs asked Chandrababu. YSRCP MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy, Meka Pratap Apparao, Dr Gopireddy Srinivas Reddy, Mustafa, Kona Raghupati and several others took part in the dharna.
