Hyderabad, Criticising the TDP government for its anti-farmer policies, YSR Congress has said that Chandrababu Naidu has been misusing official machinery to settle scores in the neighbouring Telangana state.
“The Chief Minister has been misusing the officials for his personal and political gains in the Telangana state where his Party is involved in the cash for vote scam,” party deputy floor leader Jyothula Nehru told reporters here on Monday.
The Chief Minister has been stooping to the lowest levels to wriggle out of the scam and it is a shameful act to involve the AP Government officials in it as it is purely a Party affair. The DGP of Andhra Pradesh meeting the Governor for reportedly taking up the case of Mathaiah, the accused in the scam is against the federal spirit, he said.
“It is against the spirit of functional democracy for misusing official machinery for such a purpose and the money flow in politics has increased manifold ever since Chandrababu Naidu took over as President of TDP,” Nehru said.
On the agriculture front, TDP is adopting anti-farmer policy and is burdening the farmers to fill its coffers by increasing water cess. The loans to farmers have drastically come down due to its faulty priorities, he said.
