YSRCP demands CBI probe into Tirupati issue

Hyderabad: Demanding a CBI inquiry into the reportedly vanished treasure of Lord Venkateswara from Tirupati, YSR Congress has ridiculed Chandrababu Naidus claim that his governance has been corruption free.
Speaking to reporters here on Friday, party spokesperson Vasireddy Padma said, the four year governance of Chandrababu Naidu has been laden with rampant corruption, running into 4 lakh crores, contrary to his claims and we demand that a CBI inquiry should be ordered into the missing case of temple treasure from Tirupati.
Playing with the sentiments of the people and with the precious ornaments of Lord Venkateswara, which were given by great rulers of the past and coming from generations together, would be foolish and Chandrababu Naidu stooping to such a low level shows how corrupt he has been.
When the head priest Ramana Deekshitulu has raised these questions, attempts are made to silent him by announcing retirement age, instead of answering the valid questions he has raised, she said.
Chandrababu Naidu and his coterie are trying to establish their hegemony over the Tirumala Lord and such things do not go well in a society that has strong beliefs and likes. No political system can lord over temples, churches or mosques, she said.
We have earlier demanding CBI inquiry on 10 issues and the case of missing ornaments of Lord Venkatewara is the eleventh one, she said.
Even his close relatives have raised serious questions about Chandrababu Naidu and he has no moral right to criticize our Leader who is facing the baseless charges leveled against him and the law is taking own course, unlike Chandrababu Naidu who has ducked under various provisions to escape an inquiry, she said.
