YS Jagan Condoles Rosamma's Death

Hyderabad: The leader of opposition and YSRCP president YS Jagan condoled the death of social fighter Dubagunta Rosamma. Rosamma is famous throughout the state for her fight during the liquor prohibition movement. YS Jagan mentioned in an announcement that Rosamma's struggle had proven that the Governments had to come down if women united and fought against the evil (liquor) that destroyed many families.
Dubagunta Rosamma from Nellore initiated a movement around 1990 in demand for prohibition of liquor in the state and that marked a golden era in the history of revolution in the state for the cause. YS Jagan mentioned that Rosamma's initiative had proven that great movements in people's interest could be begun from village level and taken to great extents. He paid homage to Rosamma and consoled her family members.
