YS Jagan to address 'Yuvabheri' on Feb 16

Guntur: With a view to bringing awareness among students and youngsters on Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh, YSRCP chief and Leader of the Opposition in the AP Assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will be organising  Yuvabheri (a public meeting) in Guntur.

The Yuvabheri programme is being held on February 16.  YS Jagan will interact with people, intellectuals, and students on the need for Special Category Status (SCS) to Andhra Pradesh during the ‘Yuvabheri’ programme.

An open land near agriculture market yard was selected at Guntur-Nallapadu road. Large number of students and farmers are expected to attend the meeting. All the arrangements to hold the meeting are in full swing.

The district YSRCP leaders are reviewing all the arrangements. YSRPC senior leader Botsa Satyanarayana, Talasila Raghuram, Guntur District party president Marri Rajasekhar, Guntur City President L Appireddy and constituency in-charges are supervising the arrangements.

The YSRCP party has been striving for special status for the past two and half years by organising rasta rokos, relay hunger strikes and dharnas with a slogan - "Special Status is right of Telugus." The YSRCP is now striving to exert pressure against the Centre and the State government with Yuvabheri.

In January 26, the YSRCP organised several protests like candle rallies across the state. The YSRCP secured the feedback and assesed the feelings of the youngsters during the rally. The party is trying to mobilise people by explaining the benefits of Special Catogery Status to them. Subsequently, the YSRCP has decided to organise Yuvabheri programme on a large scale.
Yuvabheri was so far organised in Tirupati, Visakahapatnam, Vizianagaram, Kakinada, Eluru, Nellore, Kurnool districts. The YSRCP leaders called upon people to attend the programme and make it a grand success.
