Guntur:YSR Congress Party senior leader  Ambati Rambabu ridiculed AP Chief Minister N Chadnrababu Naidu's statements on rivers and water body protection as the ruling TDP  leaders are looting natural resources in the state. 

Addressing the press conference in Guntur on Friday,  the YSR Congress leader alleged that the ruling party leaders have been turned as sand mafia in Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema districts. The illegal mining is rampant at all river banks. The officials were threatened if any cases are booked against the leaders and sand mafia. 

Ambati Rambabu said as many as 30 TDP MLAs were actively involved in the land mafia and dented state exchequer by evading crores of rupees tax as revenue to the state for the last three years.  The CM has no moral right to speak on river protection, he said and pointed Chandrababu made promise that DWACRA women will be give authority to maintain sand reserves but no steps were taken towards this end so far.
