Vangaveeti Ranga's Statue Demolished

Vijayawada: Tense situation was built up in Singh Nagar of Vijayawada on Sunday, following the demolition of Vangaveeti Ranga's statue by unidentified people. Followers of Ranga, in huge numbers, reached the site and staged a dharna in demand of arrest of the vandals and restoration of the statue. The police convinced them to cool down and ensured arrest of the responsible persons.
