Sharmila successfully undergoes keyhole surgery

Hyderabad, Dec 18, 2012: Smt. Sharmila has successfully undergone keyhole surgery to her injured right leg at the Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad Tuesday evening. .

A team of doctors headed by Dr. Raghuveer Reddy has performed the operation on her. Later, the doctors said Sharmila will need to rest for six weeks to recover. “She has to undergo physiotherapy almost every day,” they said. 

She is likely to be discharged tomorrow or day after, according to doctors.
