Visakhapatnam: YSRCP district president Gudiwada Amarnath criticised that not one of the promises made in the bifurcation act including the speacial status for the state and the special railway zone for Visakhapatnam had been realised in the 2-year rule of TDP. He specified that it was due to the incompetency of the Government that the state was not getting the railway zone. He spoke to the media at the party's office in Visakhapatnam.
Amarnath informed that YSRCP would stage a Rail Roko on the 2nd of June against the negligent attitude of TDP Government and the central Government. He added that it would be held in a peaceful and democratic manner. He called for all party leaders, intellectuals, students and people to take part in the agitation for the achievement of special status. He also stated that a dharna would be staged on Tuesday in front of Visakhapatnam district's collectorate against the Government's decision to extend the time limit of Visakha superbazar.
