NVSS Prabhakar becomes TDP tool: YSRCP

Hyderabad, Feb 4, 2013:
Strongly rejecting BJP leader N. V. S S. Prabhakar’s allegations against Dr. YSR’s
daughter Smt. Y.S. Sharmila and her husband Brother Anil, YSR Congress Party said
the allegations have only indicated the political decay of the BJP.

“By making false
allegations ahead of Smt. Sharmila resuming Maro Praja Prasthanam Padayatra,
the party has stooped to its lowest ebb,’ YSR Congress Party MLC Jupudi
Prabhakar Rao said in a statement here on Sunday.

Prabhakar Rao said the
allegations made at this juncture by a BJP leader three years after the death
of YSR only showed that the TDP used him as a pawn to throw mud on leaders who
earned a permanent place in the hearts of people.

“TDP knows very well
that its mudslinging campaign against the YSR family and YSR Congress president
Sri Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has been rejected by the people. The TDP leaders
therefore used the BJP leader as their tool to unleash the mala fide campaign
against the YSR family members,” Prabhakar Rao said.

Instead of taking up
people’s issues and highlighting the failures of the Government and TDP’s tacit
understanding with the Congress, the BJP leader chose to level charges against
the YSR   family members, he said, adding
that by making the false allegations he was only dancing to the tunes of
Chandrababu Naidu who was once declared as the most corrupt politician by the
Tehelka Magazine.

The way NVSS Prabhakar
addressed the press meet, akin to a TDP press meet, and the coverage given to
it by sections of print and electronic media favourable to TDP openly
highlighted the tacit understanding between the BJP and TDP, Jupudi Prabhakar Rao
observed.

By giving religious
colour to the allegations and by twisting the details accessible to all at the
ROC office, the BJP leader disclosed that his political agenda was to throw mud
on the family members of YSR.

“Ignoring BJP top
leader Sushma Swaraj’s statement in Parliament that Jagan was the latest example of how the Congress used CBI as a tool
against political opponents, NVSS Prabhakar made the baseless allegations against
YSR family at the instance of TDP,” he said.

BJP leader’s statement has only indicated that he also joined the
bandwagon of Congress and TDP leaders who have conspired against Sri Jagan
Mohan Reddy who refused to support BJP, Jupudi Prabhakara Rao said.
