Naidu backstabbed NTR then, people now

Guntur, March 18, 2013:
Accusing TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu of backstabbing people through his support
to the anti-people Congress Government on no-confidence motion, Smt. Y.S.
Sharmila asked both TDP and Congress whether they could dare to disqualify the
15 MLAs who defied the whip and go for by-polls.

Addressing a huge
public meeting at Chebrolu in Ponnuru assembly constituency of Guntur district
on the 93^rd day of her Maro Praja Prasthanam Padayatra on Sunday,
Smt. Sharmila said Naidu backstabbed NTR then for political power and now
backstabbed the people through his support to the Congress Government on the
no-confidence motion taking the assembly as witness.

Naidu will go down in
the history as the betrayer of the people, she declared, observing that both
Congress and TDP are terrified of going to the polls now. “Can they disqualify
those who defied the party whip and go for by-polls? No they can’t as they are
terrified of losing deposits in by-polls now,” she remarked.

She said Naidu in his
Padayatra had asked people to kill the Congress Government with axes and swords
but preferred to support the Government on the no-confidence motion
unabashedly. “He supported the Government as he sold out himself to the Congress
party,” she thundered.

Both Kiran Kumar and
Chandrababu Naidu are not people’s leaders and hence, they don’t know the
people’s problems, she said. “Naidu’s support to the Government has only
exposed the politics of conspiracy by the Congress and TDP.”
