MLA Stages Hunger Strike
29 Sep 2016 4:24 PM

Nellore: Nellore Urban MLA Anil Kumar Yadav is staging a 2-day hunger strike in favour of the development of his constituency. YSRCP MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy and party district president Kakani Govardhan Reddy began the strike at Gandhi statue centre in the city.
Speaking on this occasion, they commented that the development in the state had stopped when TDP had come to power. They criticised that TDP leaders were stealing public money as and when possible. The leaders complained that the Government was posing obstacles whenever the opposition party MLAs tried to perform developmental activities, by not sanctioning funds. They condemned giving authority to Janmabhoomi committees. Complaining that TDP leaders had ignored the development of Nellore city, they cautioned that they would consolidate agitation if the Government did not come to its senses. Participating in this event were YSRCP leaders Anam Vijay Kumar Reddy, Dwarakanath Reddy, corporators and other leaders.
