Memorandum To Come To The Aid Of The Poor

Nellore: Nellore urban MLA Anil Kumar Yadav submitted a memorandum to the district collector Muthyala Raju requesting for elimination of low quality houses in YSR Nagar and building new houses in their place as well as for the construction of boundary wall around Penna Barrage in Saluchintala area. Speaking to the media on this occasion, he reminded how Dr.YS Rajasekhara Reddy had planned to get 6,500 houses constructed for the poor in order to fulfill their dream to have an own house and complained that the rulers who had taken charge after YSR had neglected YSR Nagar, leading to poor quality of work. He remarked that CM Chandrababu and Minister Narayana had toured in these areas before and promised construction of new houses only to forget about it later.
