Yalamanchili (Visakha
District), March 27, 2014: Expressing anguish at the youth going astray with
liquor addiction, YSR Congress Party chief Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy vowed to
remove the belt shops from all villages in the state by restricting them to
constituency headquarters and star hotels.
Addressing a massive YSR
Jana Bheri public meeting at Yalamanchili of Visakhapatnam district Wednesday
evening, Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy also promised to appoint a batch of ten women in
each village to check the flow of illicit liquor. “These policing women will be
from the same village,” he stated.
Introducing Pragada
Nageswara Rao as the party candidate for Yalamanchili assembly constituency,
Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy said he would change the course of the history of the
state by signing the five important files soon after assuming the role of CM.
“I will come to power
in the next two months and ink my signature first on the most important five
files. The five files are the ones relating to Amma Odi where in Rs.1000 would
be deposited every month in the bank account of the mother for sending two of
her children to the school, pension scheme for hiking the monthly pension to
Rs. 700 for the aged and widows, Rs. 3000 Cr agricultural price stabilization fund
to help the farmers, waiver of DWACRA loans amounting to Rs. 20,000 Cr and
opening of offices in all villages and municipal wards for granting ration
cards, pensions and Arogya Sri Cards," he told the massive gathering.
Sri Jagan Mohana Reddy also
promised to build 10 lakh houses every year to the underprivileged sections of
the society. “I don’t want to make false promises like TDP president
Chandrababu Naidu. I appeal to you to vote for YSRCP in the forthcoming
elections to usher in the welfare state again,” he told the people.
