Hyderabad, Sept 30, 2013: YSR Congress Party chief Sri
Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has called on the Governor ESL Narasimhan along with
YSRCP MLAs here on Monday and appealed to him to convene a special assembly
session for adopting a united AP resolution.
Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy told the Governor that adoption
of a resolution in favour of keeping the state united is the need of the hour.
Assembly should adopt the resolution and the state
Government should send it to the Centre before the Note on Telangana comes
before the Union Cabinet, the YSRCP MLAs led by the party chief told the
Governor.
The Governor assured the delegation that he would
forward it to the state Government .

Sri E S L
Narasimhan garu,
His Excellency,
the Governor of
Andhra Pradesh,
Rajbhavan
HYDERABAD
Respected Sir,
Your Excellency may recall that our legislature
party members met you on 21st Sept to apprise you of the prevailing
situation in the state. The Government’s in the State and Centre seem
completely unconcerned about the ongoing agitation for the past 60 days by
almost all the sections of population in Andhra and Rayalaseema regions,
against the arbitrary and unilateral decision of the Congress Working Committee
and of UPA allies to divide the state of Andhra Pradesh.
It is shocking to note despite such overwhelming
demand from majority of state’s population and from political parties like our
party (YSRCP), MIM and CPM,
it appears that the Cabinet note proposing to create Telangana state is under
preparation. In the light of the above, we request you to convene immediately
the state assembly session to discuss and pass a resolution to keep the state
united, before the cabinet note is prepared, so as to show case the opposition
to split the state to the entire country there by mounting pressure to
reconsider this anti people stand to split the state.
Thanking You
Yours faithfully
(Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy)
