Gone seeks resignation of ministers

Hyderabad: YSR Congress Party leader and APSRTC former chairman Mr. Gone Prakasa Rao today demanded that all ministers who have criticized YSR resign immediately.
Speaking to media persons here, Gone said it is shameful on part of some ministers like Anam Ramnarayana Reddy to have criticized YSR who encouraged BC, SC and ST leaders. “YSR distributed political posts to BC leaders irrespective of their region. Ministers who have criticized YSR have no right to continue in the Cabinet,” commented Gone.
“The ministers should quit the Cabinet immediately,” he demanded. “They need to tender an apology to the people,” he said.
Taking on the senior congress leader V. Hanumantha Rao for his remarks against YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy, Gone said the Congress leader has no knowledge of history. “Hanumantha Rao is ignorant of history and his remarks are unwarranted,” he said.
Gone Prakasa Rao also objected to the ministers rallying behind Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao. “Why didn’t they exhibit the same support to Mopidevi Venkataramana when he was arrested?” he questioned.
