Vizianagaram: The end is near for Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MP Ashok Gajapathiraju's political career in Vizianagaram constituency, senior leader of the YSR Congress party (YSRCP) Bhumana Karunakar Reddy predicted.
Speaking at a press conference here today, he said that despite the ruling party leaders trying their best to create troubles for Leader of Opposition in AP Assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's massive public meeting yesterday, scores of people thronged to the meeting. The thunderous response to the YSRCP Chief's Praja Sankalpa Yatra is an indication of the anger amongst the public against the TDP, he added.
Bhumana said the admiration of people of Vizianagaram to YS Jagan was a slap in the face of the TDP leaders. "The removing of flexis arranged by the YSRCP leaders and cutting the power for the public meeting only shows the fear in the minds of the TDP leaders. This reflects on their feudal and autocratic mindsets," he added.
