Corporators Protest Against Suspension

Vijayawada: Meeting held by Municipal Corporation of Vijayawada turned chaotic. YSRCP corporators insisted on inquiry over the irregularities that took place in Krishna pushkaram works. Mayor Koneru Sridhar flatly denied to that proposal, leading to the corporators of YSRCP staging an agitation at the mayor's podium.

Raising slogans against mayor Koneru Sridhar, they demanded his resignation. The mayor furiously suspended the corporators, who, then started to protest right in the council hall against the mayor's behaviour. Tense situation was built up there.
