YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said he did not think the Centre would protect the corrupt chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking after meeting Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, he demanded that AP CM Chandrababu Naidu’s name be included as the A 1 in the Cash for Vote scam. He said Chandrababu tried to purchase TRS MLAs with the ill-gotten wealth from various scams during the last one year. He said the audio and video tapes have clearly showed that Chandrababu was neck deep in the Cash for Vote scam.
He said he has asked the Home Minister to initiate an inquiry into Chandrababu’s corruption during the last one year.
Referring to the allegations against him, Jagan said that all the allegations were false and motivated. He said both the TDP and the Congress had conspired to foist cases against him. He said he was not in power in any form at that time and did not even visit Hyderabad. “I stayed in Bangalore all through and never visited AP secretariat,” he added.
