Black Gram Farmers Should Be Rescued

Nellore: YSRCP MLA of Kavali, Ramireddy Pratap Kumar Reddy, demanded that the Government should come to the rescue of the black gram farmers who had lost their crops due to lack of rainfall and pest infestation. He examined the black gram crops in Pata Bitragunta and Konda Bitragunda of Bogolu mandal in the district.

Speaking on this occasion, he expressed concern about the damage caused to the crops by infestation. He also asked for conduction of survey and payment of compensation to the victims. Then along with party leaders, he met Kavali RDO, Bhakta Vatsalya Reddy and appealed for solution of farmers' problems and wished party leader Jagadeeswar Reddy Ketrireddy for his birthday.
