Nidadavolu (WG Dt), March 6, 2014: Reiterating his
commitment to implement YSR welfare schemes, YSRCP chief Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan
Reddy had stated he would affix his fist signature on the file relating to Amma
Odi scheme after coming to power.
Addressing a mammoth crowd of people at Nidadavolu on Tuesday,
he said money would directly go the bank accounts of mothers who send their children
to the schools. “Education is very important for all children. We must ensure
each and every child goes to school without fail,” he said.
Promising to increase the monthly pension of the
aged to Rs. 700 per month, he said a price stabilization fund with an amount of
Rs. 3000 Cr would also be launched to compensate the farmers’ losses in market
fluctuations.
“Soon after coming to power, I will also announce the
waiver on DWACKRA loans of women to help them gain in self-empowerment,” he
said amid roaring appreciation of people.
Taking a dig at Chandrababu Naidu, Sri Jagan Mohan
Reddy said people loved YSR and held him in high esteem as he implemented
several welfare schemes. “During Chandrababu Naidu regime, thousands of people
committed suicide unable to repay their loans and face the harassment by
officials,” he said, adding that YSRCP would implement all welfare schemes in
right earnest when it comes to power.
