The 66th Jayanthi Celebrations of Dr. YSR in Atlanta

Mahanetha Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy gaari 66^th
Jayanthi was celebrated by the NRI YSRCP Committee and YSR followers of America
on July 18^th, 2015 in Atlanta. The event was graced by the presence
of Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, Ambati Ramababu, Korumutla Srinivasaulu, Alla
Ramakrishna Reddy, Adimulapu Suresh, Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, Chelamalasetty
Sunil, Ramireddy Prathap Reddy, Gudivada Amarnath, Medapati Venkat, Srinivas
Kalababda, and Yadam Balaji. The celebrations started with leaders paying homage
to Dr. YSR by lighting jyothi and offering floral tributes.

The evening
began with mesmerizing renderings by classical singer Padmasri Srimathi Shoba
Raju and shared her own interaction with late Dr. YSR. YSRCP USA Convener,
Gurava Reddy welcomed the gathering and honorary guests. The gathered YSR
followers observed silence in remembrance of the victims of Godavari
Pushkaralu. The leaders, in their address to the gathering of over 600
recollected their memories of working with Dr.YSR and enthralled the crowd with
stories of how they were inspired with his great leadership.

The
speakers spoke eloquently about how Dr. YSR bettered the lives of the
people  of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana
with programs like Arogyasri, Fee reimbursement, free power, Pavala vaddi to
empower women, etc. and emphasized on the need to support YSRCP and YS
Jaganmohan Reddy to continue the legacy and vision of Dr. YSR for the people of
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The crowd was enthused by the recollections of
Sr. YSR.

The event
concluded with the organizers thanking all the people involved in making it a
grant success.
