YSRCP releases Annadata Poru poster; calls Chandrababu anti-farmer

Tadepalli, Sept 6: YSRCP has reiterated that dictatorship is going on in the state under the coalition government and farmers are bearing the brunt with scarcity of urea and the anti-farmer stand of Chandrababu Naidu.
Speaking to media after releasing the Annadata Poru poster here on Saturday, Party State Coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said, the government is threatening the farmers when they have been asking for urea and other agriculture inputs and the onslaught is led by Chief Minister himself which is shameful.
YSRCP would picket at Revenue Mandal Offices across the state on September 9 to protest against the anti-farmer attitude of the government which could not provide the required quantity of urea, despite being a coalition partner and has been encouraging private players who are exploiting farmers to the hilt by selling urea at double the price.
We will bring the coalition on knees by being the voice of the farmers and ensure that urea and other inputs like seeds and pesticides and will show that farmers cannot be looked down upon.
Though 60 percent of the agriculture operation coming to a close, urea is not available to farmers and TDP cadre has been selling it at exorbitant prices while farmers were made to run from pillar to post for urea abandoning agriculture work.
It is always the government acts in a knee-jerk reaction only after our leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy raises the issue be it mirchi, tobacco, mango or other issues. Chandrababu has been threatening every one who ask for urea which is nothing short of dictatorship.
Party leaders Lella Appi Reddy, Mondithoka Arun Kumar, Nandigam Suresh, Vellampalli Srinivas, TJR Sudhakar Babu, Rayana Bhagyalakshmi, Manohar Reddy were among those who participated in the programme.
