Tadepalli, July 23: YSRCP strongly condemns the coalition government’s oppressive actions against its leaders, activists, and supporters. Former MP Gorantla Madhav, in a press meet at the party’s central office, criticised the coalition government relentlessly harassing opposition members with baseless cases and illegal arrests to suppress their voice. “The coalition is rattled by the overwhelming public support for Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, resorting to conspiracies to curb his influence, including inadequate security despite his Z+ category status,” Madhav asserted.
He highlighted a fabricated accident case against YS Jagan in Palnadu, contrasting it with past incidents under Chandrababu Naidu’s tours, where fatalities occurred without accountability.
Madhav pointed to Chandrababu Naidu’s involvement in scams like liquor, fiber net, and skill development, now obscured to target YSRCP.
“False liquor scam charges have led to unjust arrests, including retired IAS officer Dhanunjay Reddy and senior official OSD Krishnamohan Reddy, languishing in jail for over two months,” he said. Madhav demanded the coalition cease its vendetta, urging a focus on governance over political persecution.
